Camps
Sarasota County offers 10 weeks of summer fun for children entering grades first through 12th. These camps provide a variety of safe and enjoyable recreation opportunities for your children. Recreational programs are also offered for grades kindergarten through fifth on a limited basis during the winter and spring school breaks.

Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources invite you to explore the 55,000 acres of parks that make up our park system.
Pedicab and Surrey Rides
Experience The Legacy Trail in a whole new way with Sarasota County’s Pedicab and Surrey Rides! Relax in a cozy pedicab for two or gather friends and family for an electric-assisted surrey ride, both led by knowledgeable volunteers. These 45-minute, canopy-covered tours offer a leisurely journey through nature and history—perfect for creating lasting memories!
Therapeutic Recreation (T-REC)
Sarasota County works with numerous local organizations forming the T-REC Coalition of Sarasota County. T-REC provides year-round recreational opportunities for teens and adults with disabilities. Monthly activities take place at different venues throughout the county and include dances, sporting events and much more. Scheduled activities can be found in our Events and Activities Guide.
Youth Leagues
Leagues and teams throughout the County can help any budding athlete find a sport they love and improve their skills! Kids in Sarasota can enjoy everything from football, and soccer to BMX, lacrosse and rowing.
