This park features a 2.3-mile paved multi-use trail for wildlife viewing, hiking, and biking located on the Intracoastal Waterway. It offers indoor and pavilion space you can reserve. Visit scgov.net (keyword reservations) or contact 941-861-PARK (7275).
Be sure to visit the Demonstration Garden for Florida-friendly landscaping or you can swing by the Shamrock Park Nature Center any Saturday between 9am and 1pm. You'll find fossil, shell, animal and artifact displays to browse. There is also a kids corner with toys, books and a touch table. All ages are invited.
Wondering what to plant or why that one plant isn't thriving? Drop in at the Shamrock Plant Clinic is held every 2nd Saturday of each month. No registration necessary.
