Join us for a contemplative walk practicing mindfulness, breathwork and using all your senses to connect with nature. Research shows that spending time outdoors can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve concentration and decrease the risk of chronic disease. A UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County educator or volunteer will guide you in exploring ways to find peace in nature while supporting your well-being.
Meet at the environmental center. No prior experience is needed. Wear comfortable, loose clothing and bring water and a portable chair or blanket, as we will stop to sit along the trail.
