The 49th Annual Sandy Claws Beach Run is back on the sand for a 5K run and a one-mile fun run. Come wearing your best costume and enjoy refreshments after the run. Early packet pickup is Thursday, Dec. 11, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at New Balance Sarasota, Stickney Point Road. Fees increase after Nov. 22, so register early to guarantee an event T-shirt.
Registration will remain open online until 7:45 a.m. on Dec. 13.
